Unlimited demo?

A friend told me that Trackmania would be free until april 15 2015, so I downloaded Stadium, Valley and Canyon, Stadium and Valley said it was unlimited for the winter, but the timer still counted down from 48 hours, but when it hit 0 it just stayed at 0 and still let me play. But Canyon said my time expired, and it closed and went back to Maniaplanet. I think it only lets me play for an hour every day like it says. Is Canyon excluded from the unlimited demo or is it messed up and supposed to be unlimited?

The unlimited demo is only for the Stadium title. The Canyon and Valley demos are still limited to the daily 1h.

As long the online player count is >100 the timer goes down afaik.
Vally & Canyon have limited demo, but while the online player count for Vally is <100 the online player count for Canyon is >100. So Valley is unlimited for as long there arn't 100 simultaneously connected player.

Stadium is unlimted.

There is always more than 100 people in Canyon if there is less than 100 people in Valley?

Canyon is never unlimited regardless of player count?

Why do they do it like that and not just make it unlimited? It seems like if anything, if there was more than 100 people it would be unlimited, rather than less.

I think you can also play Titlepacks without time restriction if there is less than 100 players connected on it.
