Is there any hope, that my trackmania days are not ower?

I have always hated narrow field of view (FOV) on games and preferred to play games (including driving ones) in 1st person (inside) view and trackmania is no exeption. But now after a recent update all of a sudden for some reason the FOV was reduced quite much, at least for my favorite's Canyon inside view (cam 3) but I guess the same goes for other enviros aswell (maybe even shootmania?) that I have not tested yet (yes I have bought them all as I quite liked them, even if Canyon was the one I mostly played).
That litle change, at least for me, completly destroyed the feeling of the game I was loving so much plus if I play like this too long I will even feel a bit sic.
So my question is: is this ever going to be changed back (or user changeable) so I could enjoy this otherwise awesome game once more or is it a thing of the past?
