Cheater on Stadium A12 (Top1, 19.30) and B15 (Top1, 1.03.58) by "SpiineeX".
Delete these times and ban the account, thanks!
(and also take care of the backwards time on Valley B05, it has been said that it's deleted already but I can still see it in my rankings).

I've been on Call of Duty, CS:S, CS:GO, ARMA, and Quake servers with players doing things such as spinning 360 degrees, flying through maps, noclipping through walls, and instant killing everyone with headshots. Punkbuster did not kick them, VAC did not ban them, BattleEye did not acknowledge them, but it was common sense they were cheating. Most that have been PC gaming as a hobby have encountered some similar situation from time to time, it's not that rare.

This does show, however, that no system is 100%. When the in-place systems fail we rely on human decision; common sense moderation that sees players that are clearly doing things which are breaking the rules.

More to the point Nadeo, your validation system is not 100%. It never has been, it never will be. I've had replays not validate both of myself, and many others, which are completely legit. And we have had cheated replays of banned and removed records that do validate. Some of these cheated records even remained on the official rankings for months at a time until they were finally removed them. This shows system failure on both ends and backs up what we already know, the validation system is only one part of what we rely on to help keep the game clear of cheaters.

The other part Nadeo, is you. As we rely on multiplayer moderators to help keep the ladder servers clean, we also rely on your common sense moderation of the official leaderboards, to help us keep the cheaters away. We have no other choice but to rely on you as you are the only element which can fix things when the current systems fail.

I just ask, Nadeo, that you take this into consideration in light of current records currently being set in Valley. Namely in regards to a certain driver that has been called into question before. I just ask that you use your common sense and be the other half of the system that is required to keep cheated records from happening.

Regards.

These records had been deleted a few days ago.
Edk, yes the system is not perfect and that's why it's important that you keep on reporting cheated records on this thread.

I'm not taking either side, but just pointing that the replays are saved and sent to dedimania, and can be found at:
http://dedimania.net/tm2stats/?do=stat& ... ow=RECORDS

I'm not sure if you need to have premium account for downloading the validation replays.
Hopefully this helps for better knowledge.

So, this whole issue keeps pissing me off since apparently nobody gives a shit about it. Me (and a couple of other bothered players) have contacted Nadeo, either we have received no response or something like "we will look into it".
Same thing has been told 1 year ago when this whole thing started going around, absolutely nothing has happened since then except for more people losing their records to this specific player.
This player keeps setting absolutely ridiculous replays over and over again. The more replays he uploads, the more ridiculous it becomes.

An interesting example is his most recent upload, D15 from the solo campaign. I've had a close look at the replay in the Mediatracker using extreme-close up camera shots onto his wheels and slowmotion and counted the amount of times he tapped the brake DURING a turn without drifting away.
Since D15 is a 10-lapper, I will refer to the first lap for now. Here I counted 32 (!!!!; not 100% sure, in some cases it is incredibly hard to tell with the replay, there might be even more than 32) taps onto the brake in just one single lap, most of the times there have been multiple brake taps in one turn. Towards the end of the first lap, the player braked so often that the car did one giant consecutive driftmark for more than 2 (!!!!!!!) seconds during the turn - without drifting. Does that make sense? Nope.
The same happens in almost every other lap in the same turn as well. The car often shows very weird steering behavior in the turns, sometimes it seems like the player stops steering for a couple of frames, then starts steering again and brakes to instantly get back on line again.
Please download the replay and watch it yourself if you want to have a giggle: http://tm.mania-exchange.com/replays/download/183757
It can't only be observed on named track, but also on various other tracks where he thought he could use his little trick.

This player has also been randomly accused other players of cheating, which is something very interesting indeed.
To be precise, he has been accusing me of using macros and shows quite a high level of knowledge about how macros work and how I possibly used them:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24040&start=180#p234442
Just a few days later, he accused me and and a teammate again, this time on a track made for the MX advent calendar where the camera is forced up above the car via Mediatracker. He claims we found a way to play with the normal camera.
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=24040&start=190#p235378
For me, it is 100% obvious that this player is using third party tools (probably macros) to configure his keyboard in a way it doesn't allow longer keystrokes than needed to perform this brake trick. As edk already pointed out a couple of posts above, it just needs common sense and little understanding of the Valley physics (not even that actually) to see that this is not legit.

I want a proper answer (and solution) from the devs right here, otherwise I see myself forced to make this whole thing even more public and see what the others think about it - maybe then someone wants to discuss this with me.
It is just sad that this issue hasn't been resolved for so long, I remember the incident with Team Carbon before the Shootmania ESWC where the devs apparently have investigated this issue for quite a long time to find out the truth. The same happens in other games: cheaters, even if it's just an assumption, will be investigated and banned if it really is the case. That's, sadly, not the case here. Valley already has very few active players, and patient and dedicated players like me or others are slowly losing faith if nothing happens concerning such issues.

Thanks for reading,
beers :pil

Rio & edk are both 100% correct about this cordanis issue. I'm not going to go nearly as in depth as them, but I will just say that for experienced players, it is beyond obvious that cordanis is using some sort of hacks. Having this hacker beat us and then call out legit players as hackers is complete bullshit, for lack of a better word, and since Valley is nearly dead as it is, I can't imagine that this is a good thing for the remaining playerbase.

If this were an issue in Stadium, it would've been taken care of months ago. Please don't let this issue go on any longer, Nadeo.

I agree, for more than a year Cordanis has been using his stupid shitty cheats but sadly no one really cares about it since valley is nearly dead.
It is obvious indeed that Cordanis is using cheats or macros,i mean, how the hell do you even brake more than 6 times in a row without drifting even if it was high speed?
Cordanis also always acts like a 5 year old and he accuses others for cheating and calls them "noobs" even though he is the real cheater himself.

"We look at all top 10 official times of Dimitrian2 and all his official times have been validated. We have restored his deleted official times that have been removed by mistake.
Sorry Dimitrian2 for having removed non cheated official times and GG for your records :)" - Alinoa

This was from more than a year ago and seriously how are you even supposed to know if his records are even legit.
I feel like everyone is just leaving valley alone to die and it just makes me feel bad that people just leave it like that and yet there has been a cheater in valley solo for more than a year.....this is a shame, seriously :(
