Error 10061

Please help! I have created a server that I cannot access once exiting it because it says "Could not contact server. Connection to (ip adress) failed or disconnected from server. (10061)". I created a server by doing the following ONLY in-game:
1. going to Multiplayer
2. creating a new server
3. selected my downloaded maps
4. saving the maps to a new playlist
5. launching the server

After which I was able to play on it and change the maps etc...
After I exited the server and searched it on multiplayer, I did come up, but when I clicked it, it said the message above. I am brand new to this process. Please forgive me if I should have posted this elsewhere.

they way you explained will indeed shutdown the server as your client is the host.
