I'm having some questions;
1 How to make custom solo that will load not in menu ,but in script.
example: I need to load solo play on script, when I select "Nations".
2 How to pack to create datapack with your campaign maps + how it load?
3 How to get info about user his/her medal ranking to+ how it load to script ?
If you know answers please write!

Re: Questions and answers
Why does the editor want to calculate shadows every time I load a map?
If I'm loading a map in the editor it's likely because I'm going to edit it, and thus will have to calculate shadows again later anyway. I have to hit cancel every time I load a map. Even an empty one.

In game luncher go: Configure -> Advanced -> Compatibility, and under Lightmap quality pick None.Demented wrote:Why does the editor want to calculate shadows every time I load a map?

This should stop auto-calculation every time map is loaded.

Re: Questions and answers
Ok Thanks, but I want high quality lightmaps when I race and when I save my maps, I just don't need them while editing until I'm finished with my tracks. Can I still do that it I set it to "none"?

Re: Questions and answers
I am not sure but i think quality of lightmap on your map depends on what quality of it you pick when calculating shadows.
When you race other maps quality of lightmap depends on what kind of shadow calculations author did.

Re: Questions and answers
The initial shadow calculation for new maps is very short, ~5s no really need to cancel it.
If you set to "none", then it also doesn't happen.

Re: Questions and answers
Thanks for the tips you guys. I often work on tracks for days or even weeks so that was helpful.
In "configure" I did select None and it defaults back to Low but does not calculate automatically every time I load a map.
I also tried ticking the box for "Ultra" which seems to just offer the option to render in Ultra when you choose to calculate shadows. Now I can load and edit my maps with no hassles and I'll take the extra time to Calculate in Ultra when I'm done.
Excellent!

Re: Questions and answers
My question is simply: Is there any news on MP4?
Not trying to hassle, just asking... or is it going to come with Lagoon?
