First, sorry guys if im writing in the wrong site..
Well, after a couple of week without going into Steam, i tryed to play TM2 and when i entered to the game, after connecting with my login, bar update appears: "Please wait, updating subscribed workshop files...", but this bar doesnt load anything, i tryed waiting 1 hour, but nothing. Along with the bar update, give a button "Postpone", and if i pressed, another message appears: "Maniaplanets needs to be restarted to complete the update" with a button "Restart the game". I press this button and TM is closed, then another bar update appears (but now its a Steam's bar update) that say: "Updating TM2 Stadium" along with a bar update that load normally, when this bar update finish, i try to enter the game and again the same bar update (step 2): "Please wait, updating subscribed workshop files...".... and everything else.
How i can fix this? or delete/skip that update bar.... Plz help

Re: Problem with updating "Steam-TM2"
Have you tried veryfiying the game cache via the steam library?
To do so go to your Steam library, right-click on TrackMania² Stadium and select properties.
Go to the tab "Local Files" and select "Verify integrity of game cache".
Other than that I am not entirely sure what might cause this problem. Another thing you might try is renaming your ManiaPlanet custom files folder just to see if you can enter the game then. (The game will create a new one when it can't find the old one).
Good luck with this!

I tryed verifiying the game cache, but nothing. The second option, i didnt try cause i dont know where find those "Maniaplanet custom files"..
Yesterday i tryed Uninstalling Steam, but the same problem again. The best option that i think was uninstall trackmania from steam, and installing without this (installing from .exe that i downloaded in maniplanet), but when i write my account password says "incorrect password", and im 90% sure that's my pw.

Re: Problem with updating "Steam-TM2"
By default they can be found under "C:\Users\"your username"\Documents\ManiaPlanet"
If you rename the "ManiaPlanet" folder to something else like "ManiaPlanet old", the game will create a new ManiaPlanet folder when launching.
This might help if some of the files in the "Config" subfolder are corrupted.
Did you download the installer from player.maniaplanet.com?
Also try the support forum at this link (someone might have had your problem already) :

If I find some time, I'll check myself and come back to you

Re: Problem with updating "Steam-TM2"
Try to unsubscribe the content in the workshop. it is possible that it stalls if the ressource is not longer available.
Then see if the game updates properly.

I downloaded from http://maniaplanet.com/trackmania/stadium, cause i cant login in Maniaplanet, i tried with all my passwords, then pressing "forgot pw", and tried with all my emails, nothing... maybe i will try to contact to maniaplanet support, i have the cdkey. In the game also tried with "forgot pw" but says that my account doesnt have an email registered. I dont know if it's possible restore my password only with the cdkey, i have the first email with the validation code from maniaplanet but i tried with that code, but nothing.Mordin_Solus wrote:Hm not sure about the password thing.

Re: Problem with updating "Steam-TM2"
Unfortunately the game does not store the email account that was used for registration automatically in the game profile. First point.
Second point, if you installed the standalone client, it might have overwritten some files that are specific to the Steam client.
I know it is a bit difficult to understand and to handle.
But both clients are somehow incompatible, they cannot use the same user data folder at the same time.
Probably you now have the issue that the game is bugged for both setups.
uninstall both (standalone and in Steam), also delete the user data folder (your own documents in Windows, ManiaPlanet).
Then you can try to install preferably the Steam version again.
And at the login screen of the game, select "existing profile" and indicate login and password.
In case you really don't know the password anymore, unfortunately you will have to contact Ubisoft support (see links in my signature) and wait a few days.
