Hi
I bought Trackmania2 on steam a while back and played it for about fifteen hours without any issue but then I moved house and got a new internet provider and on starting it up I get this error.
I can connect to the main Maniaplanet server but once I try to launch Trackmania it hangs and then gives me this error. I tried everything mentioned in the other threads on here but none of it worked.
CONNECTION: Cannot Connect to server (12002)

Re: CONNECTION: Cannot Connect to server (12002)
Did you have to install new software or new drivers, e.g. for a new cable/DSL modem or router?
12002 is a connection timeout. Either ManiaPlanet is not able to send data, or it doesn't reveive answers.
Please check the firewall of your PC, and of your router.
Which anti-virus and internet security suite software are you using?

Hello, I also am getting this same very error code. TMarc? It could be possible that ferg is on a satellite connection provider. Satellite internet has one heck of a bad ass ping (in a bad way) and i do think being on a satellite provider can give multiple issues.. I extremely recommend NOT to use a satellite connection provider.
Re: CONNECTION: Cannot Connect to server (12002)
yeah, possible, but if you don't have any other choice? E.g. live in the middle of the nature? Then you won't get any wire or fiber...

UPDATE: 3/16/15
Still have the same problem as I did when I had satellite internet. My ping with this server I get around 130ms witch is far better than I did with satellite however it no longer constantly goes "ignored time, ignored time, ignored time" like 20 times in just one match witch is an improvement.
I am no longer using satellite internet or anything such as radio waves. I am connected to DSL (electric through copper) for 300 feet to a DSLAM then converts over to fiber (light through glass). My modem is setup to where I can host my own server and no one complains of any lag or ignored times. I have no firewall up and neither does my friend. Only thing I have is anti malware bytes. The ethernet between me and my modem is no longer than 3 feet long, cable was tested with a tester 5 times, connection never gets cut off. I've done multiple ping tests and download or upload tests and everything looks good.
Today I played with my friend and got banned twice for no reason. Any ideas? If my friend restarts the server, i am then able to rejoin.
I have a much stronger computer then i did last time as well. Now I have a ATX Z97 pc mate by MSI with a 4690K devils canyon and 8GB of corsair vengance RAM. I have installed a fresh new copy of windows 7 64 bit OS.

Did you try to deactivate the P2P in the game launcher and did you check out the network speed in your launcher: http://wiki.maniaplanet.com/en/Configure#Network?
If you deactivate your anti malware, does it work?
