maybe try to save the maps with the debug .exe version and see if some error shows up(no idea on what could be going wrong, appart from outdated server but thats crazy)

This thread is about an official and bugging map used in a league you are supporting with lots of money. On top of that its a pretty huge bug which simply crashes your server without ANY errorlog.

Just to let you know that we read your topic and we are still investigating into this bug (thanks for the report and clues!).
So the bug is not fixed yet: at the moment there is no other solution than updating the server.
But we'll keep you informed when there's something new about it.

Any progress? It's kind of a big deal because it makes loads of servers crash

The crash is caused by some blocks that have changed at the end of 2014: so maps made after these changes can contain some block variants that are unknown by old servers.
For example, in your map "Elite - Castelito", if you simply replace the block at (25,19,21) (use the plugin "CursorCoord" to find it) by a simple slope castle block (without the metal parts), the map will become loadable by old servers!
Of course it is not normal that the server crashes instead of ignoring the map it cannot open, and we will fix that in a future version of the server.
The other conclusion is that the only good solution to prevent those crashes at the moment is to update the old servers (it would be too long and complicated to find which blocks cause the crash in each map).
