Modwork ...

Post by Martelprod »

Our Mod has Mood.MoodSettings.xml in Sunset, Sunrise and Night.
It works perfectly in Stadium editor, and on Stadium Servers.
But in SRE Title, Mood.Moodsettings.xml + waterColor.tga aren't applied in editor, and they are ok on SRE Servers.
FYI : the mod is not included in the Title.

Help please ! ;)

I'm not sure to understand very well but :

If you're mod is on folder Modwork you can always see you mod. It works in the editor and online. But it works only for you. If you want other players see you mod the best solution (especially with this kind of small modifications is to have the mod in the title (if you put a map with the mod in solo campaign the mod will be automatically put in the title). Other solution is to have the mod with the map.

The most important, if i guess well, is to have you mod in a .zip (like for a "classic textures mod") and not in Modwork. Modwork is a awesome feature but just to make tests.

Hope it can help you ;)

Thanks for your help meuh ;)

I have no folder Modwork ( I had it for tests ).
The mod is in a zip , hosted somewhere with its a locator and used on servers with forcemod plugin.

I have it also in skin/stadium/mod for mapping moments.
All works good in stadium servers and stadium editor, works also in SRE servers but not in SRE editor.
=>Mood.Moodsettings.xml and waterColor.tga don't work.

Maybe you can make a try : remove the mod from you personnal data folder, restart the game and try to open editor in SRE title. Just to check if the problem come from the game. Because a Maniaplanet bug known is : when you have a mod in your personnal folder and in the title, you can't see the mod when you play online. Maybe it is something similar. Or if other people can check if it is the same for us without the mod in their personal folder.

Sorry but i can't see solution :(

Make sure that there's no syntax problem, because I see that you typed s as displayed above.

It's a habit, but no "s" at setting in zip

Mod delete from Skin/Stadium/Mod and Cache
It is not proposed anymore in Stadium editor, but it is in SRE editor
Maybe because it is used in background of SRE title ...
