Re: you are not able to see your fault ...
How often shall it be repeated?
1. We have to be patient, news will be announced around the summer (probably short before French school holidays, or after them).
2. Nadeo doesn't promise anything. The team is too small so they can't work all the time only on TrackMania, but because too many people chose to play the free demos, they probably don't get that much money to be able to push two teams for TrackMania and ShootMania at the same time.
3. It is also the community who has to do something, by creating new content, and not only to complain and cry that there is always nothing new.

Doesnt mean because your mod that I have to agree with you.I agree with what mister kata78 said.TMarc wrote:How often shall it be repeated?

A new environment... and splitting everything up again would be a bad idea. Ofcourse a new environment is always cool. ( f.e. : valley, cool but barely any players ).
1. People dont do well with being patient. For some its easy, for others its less easy. I imagine its harder for younger persons. It's normal that "not so happy" threads get created here on the forums. But you're keeping it under control like a good mod

Also : The game has been in a negative spiral for quite some time (years) so in a way you could say we already have been véry patient. I'm here since 2012 and even then the forum was packed with threads like this...
2. NADEO does promis things. They promised a better game with more players, every year. How their budget is & what teams they have I do not know.
3. The community is doing a lot. It's actually quite impressive how much they are doing. Imo its the time that NADEO turns Maniaplanet in a premium 2015 product with a finished and polished feel because that's really one of the biggest problems : bugs, menus, gui, userfriendlyness, documentation... I still cant even talk with my buddies ( like many many many others cant )
I'm sorry if this was negative, because apparently you get instantly labeled 'bad guy' if you make posts like these.
This is my opinion. And, once again, I agree with kata87.
The neverending waiting game has to stop.
Re: you are not able to see your fault ...
novationx, your post is not negative.
The point with kata78s post is not that I agree or not with him.
The point is that he throws in stuff that has been discussed many times before.
And as moderator I simply have to say it that is enough now, because at the moment, it will bring nothing.
Nadeo won't be able to work faster only because of this message.
It is simply useless right now.

How can you write this ?ManiaDesign wrote:Yes, that's the truth! I agree with you

For people like kata, because you work on trackmania Lake, you will split the community... And you agree with that...
You start your environment project one year ago. And it seems to be far to be released. So you should understand it takes time to make good stuff, even for professionnals.
Really, I don't understand why someone like you, who use awesome nadeo tools for creation can write you agree with the dark forum side

Re: you are not able to see your fault ...
If you think like that, the TM community has always been "split". Or seggregated, whatever your taste is .
Which each environment came fans who would preffer one or another, and discussed that on one place. There are dedicated servers focused on this or that style of track. Whithin TMX there are different genres of track creators. But we are all driving tracks and creating content for it.
The only difference between trackmania forever (which was a huge game with all 7 classic environments from the first trackmania) and the way we have it now is that on steam you have different titles that you can start. People will drive on what environment they are interested in. It's all within the same framework of maniaplanet, which has built in ways to communicate within the community.
But people still come to the same forum, people still create content, it's just the prefference that changes. I've been gone for a while but I still know where to go to get in touch with the community. It has become as rich as I dreamed and the seggregation part has always been a part of Trackmania. That difference between environments.
Technically speaking, I can kinda relate to your fear. But Maniaplanet is also the framework for trackmania, which will receive updates. There's nothing like a client that will suddenly jump ahead in terms of optimization or stabilization. Each environment is different, but technically equal in terms of bugfixes, client health etc. At least that's how I judge the way these environments work rightnow.
From what I just learned, it's an entirely new client but why would you think that it impacts the community in a negative way ?
The glass is half full!

The community has been carrying Nadeos games for over a decade. You would never have released TMS if it wasn't for the HUGE WORK that the community has done since TMO release. Same is true for every version after TMS. All you released are some engines and texture packs. 99.9999% of content has always been created by the community.TMarc wrote: 3. Statements like yours show how alienated you guys are from your player base.
