The Stunning Screenshots Challenge #2

Hello everyone,

You have all waited for it, and here it comes! This month is a SSC month!
To remind you what the SSC is, the goal is to create the best picture you can following one main guide line, one precise theme. You can use any ManiaPlanet game, even Turbo if you are lucky enough. Unlike the first edition, Photoshop or other photo editing softwares is only to authorized to adjust colors, contrast. Using one of these softwares to add anything not belonging to the game will lead you to a simple disqualification. Do not hesitate to ask us questions about it. The three best picture's owner will receive some planets. All the pictures will be published some days after the edition's closure ont the official SSC ManiaLink. The pictures will be marked and commented by some MediaPlanet members.

The rules are:

1. You must own a purchased ManiaPlanet account.
2. Do not use pictures from someone else.
3. One picture per person.
4. The pictures' size must be at least 1920*1080.
5. The pictures' format must be PNG or JPEG.
6. Avoid borders within the pictures.
7. The pictures must be sent to the address stunning.screenshots@gmail.com.
8. The e-mails must respect this format : SSC edtion_number - real_ingame_nickname submission (replace the underlined text by what corresponds)
9. Do not forget to give us your real ManiaPlanet nickname!
10. Use an image hosting website like imgur or a cloud storage service like dropbox.
11. Do not publish your picture on the forum or anywhere else, keep it secret.

is there an easy way to get this 1920x1080 pixels
my max. screenshot size has 1280x1024 pixels

i can edit it with a photo editing software, but the quality will be not that good then

do you know, what i can/should do now with the picture

I haven't done lots of screenshots yet and it's been a while since I made my last but.. isn't it possible to change the resolution in the mediatracker when you want to create a screenshot there? Just pick a good camera angle by the custom camera option and somewhere in the menu there is the possibillity to create a screenshot of your scene
I am sure somebody who is more experienced will be able to help you out.

To render screenshots that have a greater resolution than your screen, you have to set your game in windowed mode. In fullscreen mode, you only can render pictures of your screen's resolution or smaller.

@sopra: i never tried out the mt-moviemaker not the mt-screenshotmaker
i just work with the mt to create intros, outros and ingame sequences.

@nerpson: yes, i tried out the window mode with the correct resolution, the problem was that i can't see the whole screen on my display ( i have an old 4/3 monitor haha)

Can I take 2 screenshots and put 1 on top of the other? I wouldn't be adding anything from outside the game, but idk if this is allowed.
