Paragon didn't allow spectators to watch in game. After this people got mad because it meant they couldn't watch their friends get stomped by Aera or couldn't ghost or whatever they wanted to do. Then after realizing "Hmm.. maybe ghosting would be a problem" they started crying about only having one stream and no stream in french or german or italian or swahili.

I just got to say. Paragon did a great job with the qualifying process in the short amount of time given to prepare. I'm sure they would've allowed any little kid in Argentina streaming the matches if it was entirely their tournament. ESWC still stands as organizer and they have their rules. There is a bit more to it than just saying "Here ya go! Access to all our servers granted". I'm sure there were more pressing matters to attend than to find a french streamer.

But tbh I prefere to give hard working casters the extra viewers so they stay motivated to keep casting every week.
I bet that if paragon allowed spectating during ESWC that the viewer count would have dropped 50%+
