Reinstall Windows 7 (or 8.1 if have it).
Until now it seems that there is no solution.
But the only problem is the setting for the shade quality.
If you set it on high instead of very high there are no lags

yes I have tried the settings as HaagseSmurf says and it works, with no lag but not as graphically splendid as before
I am not going back to windows 7 for one game so it looks like all AMD driven people will have to with lower setting
until a fix comes out, I feel sorry for people who have paid for the game, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Hi,

I had a friend having issues with FPS after upgrading to windows 10. We completely uninstalled the AMD drivers removed the card (catalyst the horror) and reinstalled it all from scratch ccleaner and many "useless" software later it worked. He doesn't play MP so not sure if it would any of you.

The idea is you need to install the drivers as if it was a new computer. That is why we removed the card (if it is a laptop; sorry :( )

Both my computers upgraded to win10 without a hustle and MP runs fine. I don't think it is a game issue; Amd drivers has always been slow to come & even slower to work properly; for some reasons game developers tend to use Nvdia cards which means games are slightly better optimized for it(even through new consoles are on Ati).

Anyway good look for solving the pb hope it helps someone that has time.

With shaderquality Very Fast: No lag, FPS 200-250.
With shaderquality Nice: No lag, FPS 150
With shaderquality Very Nice: Extreme lag, FPS 50-70.

Sorry, that seems a game-issue to me, as it was working fine with the same AMD driver in Windows 7 where i had no lag and an FPS of 110 on shaderquality Very Nice.

Greetz,
You can't just say same driver it worked, you changed your OS meanwhile like the most important software on the computer. The same driver won't interact the same way with the OS, and therefore the game might suffer from it. All games might not. Driver optimizations are very complicated and may varry from game to game.
So you might have a driver working perfectly on win7 and the same driver not working on win10. You might have a driver working perfectly well with a game and crashing your computer with another.

A game shouldn't be affected by the OS, it should be transparent for it (in an ideal world). So win7 or win10 it shouldn't matter. But it matters for the driver.

Either you need to wait for an update of your drivers or of the game (if it is the game and in which case you will probably need to wait till 2020) or by fiddling if you have time and can afford to make your computer unusable for a while.

I quite agree Nadeo should at least make a statement on the subject, we can only make theories about why it doesen't work. Win 10 has been out for over 2 month now, haven't they tested the game ? If there is indeed an issue don't they want to know about it? Probably TMT is more important we can as well rot here.
I understand your frustration :)

Well, i am not frustrated luckily, frustration is for issues far more important than only a game ;)
After all i am a bit happy i can still play the game in some lower settings.

And yes, i am afraid they havent tested it, or not tested it properly.
If you test it properly you can at least make some conclusions if the issue is game related or not.
If it is game related then they have to fix it, after all, TMT is running on the same engine and the same settings.
This bug will then definitifely also appear in TMT as well !!
If it is not game related, then they can contact AMD. As a game-developer you stand much stronger with issues and can better point out where the problems are, then just us as costumers.
If they fix the problem before the release of TMT, and fix it in TMT as well, it only will help NADEO as well.
If they find the cause of the trouble in the AMD-driver then its also recommendable to solve this thing before the release of TMT. It wont look good in the game-reviews of TMT if the review is talking about a game which is really laggy.

So it just needs to be sorted out in my opinion, whether its driver or game-related.

@oliver:
the reason why there are no lags in MP is because the settings you set for the game don't apply for the MP.
you can see it by keeping an eye on the FPS
in MP there are much more FPS
A game shouldn't be affected by the OS
it shouldn't, but it can
Windows 10 is based on Windows 8(.1) which had many changes "under the hood", but in Windows 10 there where even more changes.
so it is likely that the way the option "very nice" works does not have a problem with Windows 7, but with Windows 10

well as i said i have freshly installed windows 10 (not upgrade) with the new amd driver on a formatted hard drive so it must
be something to do with windows, as with windows 7 and the same driver it ran great, would be nice to get some sort of an answer or fix,
