TMU and windows 8/10

Post by Smigles »

Sorry for bringing this up here, but all the Tmu resources I used are by now gone or dead. ubisoft.com and nadeo.com had no links to any Tmu forums. So I hope maybe one of the devs will reply here ^^

I was wondering if we will get a patch to make Tmu and Tmnf work in the new operating systems. That would be super sweet :1010 Is anything like that even being discussed ?

Thanks in advance

http://www.tm-forum.com/ is still around, as it has been for the past decade or so. ;)
And no, you better not expect any more work to be done on those old(er) games, Nadeo has enough going on with MP and TMT.

TM Original, Nations, ESWC and United work fine on Win10 as they are..... so there should be no need for any update (and there wont be anyway!) 8-) .. :pil

Tmu does not recognise my grafics card under win8 and 10, so it is not exactly working fine ^^

If you have a solution for this, I would be so happy :)

I checked that and the last posts there are from years ago except in 2-3 threads where people are probably chatting. I saw you quite often as last poster ^^

So tmu is no longer supported by any company? How long till they turn off the master servers? :o

This issue is becoming more and more a thing, especially now with people upgrading to newer OS'es or buying laptops with dedicated + onboard graphic chips. I'm having the same issue on a laptop with a GeForce 840M + Win 8.1, haven't been able to find a solution yet. I highly doubt Nadeo is going to look at that, but perhaps someone from the community will come up with a reliable fix.

That's gonna take a while (if so). Keep in mind even TMO's master servers are still alive.

i bet that issue affects Nations Forever too, it has more players than TM2 Stadium so they really should do something about that not to mention United still being sold online

But it's Nadeo, so...

It is not a very active forum any more, that's true (and understandable for such old games), but you are underestimating that number. It is even checked regularly by Alinoa, who does answer support questions.

Regardless of that, TM-forum is the appropriate place for TMU topics, while in this MP forum they are off-topic, so at least you should have posted here and avoid that a moderator had to move this thread out of the TM2 forum. ;)

Very very long. Reportedly (I don't have those games so can't check) even the TMO and TMS master servers are still online; the TMN ESWC master server definitely is.

Yes, you're mixing up things here. We're talking about the master servers here, not about community-ran servers.
