Also with windows 10 the windows defender is playing parts with huge laggs.
Turn it off or put it in exeptions list from windows defender.

It's a shame that there's still no response from Nadeo in this matter. It's been months since the community has started to report these issues.
Maybe this thread should be moved to the bugs & supports forum.

Re: Extreme lag in Windows 10 [BUG] [IMPORTANT]
Today i did a clean install (first removed the old Catalyst and all of his components) of the new Radeon Crimson 15.11 AMD driver (http://www2.ati.com/drivers/radeon-crim ... -64bit.exe) for my AMD R9 290 card.
After that i changed my shadersettings to Very Nice and the lag i had before in this setting is gone !!!

With the new Radeon software you can easily adjust your settings for each game, Maniaplanet included.
I have tried if running shadercache on the 3 differents moods (off, optimised for AMD, on) did had any effect, but i didnt notice any big difference.

Maybe its the clean install or its the new Radeon software. Until now the problem seems to be solved for me.
I hope it also works for others!
Good luck !

Re: Extreme lag in Windows 10 [BUG] [IMPORTANT]
Still no soulution for me. Even after a clean install I still ecperience extreme lag that makes the game unplayable.
Other games (currently playing Fallout 4) are working flawless.
Anyone any idea:
Windows 10 Pro
AMD FX 8320 Eight-Core 3.50 GHz
32 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

I got this, you see that there is a stutter that keeps coming back every second or so...
The top bart shows the "stutter", the bottom one is normal.
With the same settings and hardware in Windows 7 there was no problem at all

Re: Extreme lag in Windows 10 [BUG] [IMPORTANT]
I have 100% load and 70fps after like 5/10 minutes I play (played with stable 500) on Shootmania for a week or so now... Windows 10 and i7-4790K with a GTX980... I doubt it's an AMD problem. Tried swapping my gfx with a different 980, tried changing PCI slot, tried scanning for viruses, tried uninstalling drivers more than once, tried uninstalling SM more than once, tried tweaking the settings (usually play with full minimum settings), tried overclocking or tweaking the power consumption with afterburner and BIOS, yet nothing seems to change. I'm mad as shit atm, really can't understand. Any tips? Thanks.

EDIT: I format my pc and installed windows 8.1 again, works fine.

Still no solutions here. Intalled the new AMD drivers but still no fix for this.
On the upside, playing in safe modus fixes the problem, makes the game look like 1995 though
