Yea, he could post nothing, but there are some people who just don't get the message that enough is enough and most of his messages are simply rude and uncalled for. You know, like referring to parts of someones posts as "Stupid Images". Some people just need it to be made clear.

Re: Petition to bring TMU environments to Trackmania²
it's all about who's posting the message and not what's written on it so it's fineTheM wrote:You can also post nothing instead of those stupid imagesCerovan wrote:That was for disposableaccount, we explained several times the philosophy and the model behind Turbo. I'm not gonna repeat myself at each of his posts when on top of this, someone already answer well to his questions.
You should stop answering him.
Anyway, seems pretty clear that TMU won't come to ManiaPlanet.
Let's see what else you guys have for ManiaPlanet to make sure it won't die any further soonish

ManiaPlanet is done but it would be nice if TMT had the old environment's on it as DLC, i'd pay for it and the season pass

It's funny that you are linking just this.disposableaccount wrote:it's all about who's posting the message and not what's written on it so it's fine

You know very well that you especially were the reason for thatpost, and you still don't get it...

I repeat it only one time: it is not about who is posting, as long as the user in question has been reasonable most of the time in the past.
You weren't repeatedly, and you were not just sarcastic, you were simply unfriendly in your reply, and this we don't tolerate here.
But you seem not to want to understand at all.
You have got some feedback and also some warnings, and if you continue like this and apparently only want to cause trouble, you're on the wrong way here.
Last call from my side: Don't behave silly, and don't start to make anyone angry here!
You're totally wrong again here, you are twisting facts to totally confused others.disposableaccount wrote:ManiaPlanet is done but it would be nice if TMT had the old environment's on it as DLC, i'd pay for it and the season pass
This topic is only about to bring older environments from TMO/TMS/TMUF to Maniaplanet-Trackmania and not anything related to TMT!
Besides this, TMT will most probably never have any other environments/titles as DLC.
TMT is not a "I want to have"-Game. It is "as is". Point. And there is nothing like "season's pass".
From what we know from the announcements and from the feature blogs, TMT will be a "one-shot" standalone game: done for one release, with built-in "customization" features, but no external modding, no own customization, no file exchange outside of the game.
Subject of yet unknown things to be revealed for our surprise.
Everything we (ok, many, or some) complained about in the past regarding Maniaplanet (e.g. unpolished game, split the community with the many custom titles, to complex usage, not colorful enough, bad UI style, too many bugs, no advertisement, not enough communication etc.) they [Nadeo & Ubisoft] are surprisingly doing different (not yet sure if everything is better) with TMT.
I think we in the Maniaplanet community have to digest that.
Not exactly what the community wanted, but for my part, a suprising step.
It's the proof that they can do - if they want.
The message is clear:
Stadium is outdated now, and can't keep new players incoming.
Something new is needed. Something that also runs on consoles. Something for the masses.
So, TMT will be the new "Trackmania showcase", for players who want a easy and simple game.
Maniaplanet is still there, with (more or less) full customizability (ok, car physics changes still very restricted), for the expert users and players who don't need the flashy stuff of TMT.
And what Nadeo plans for Maniaplanet in future, we partially know, if the plans didn't change already again.
Maniaplanet will still exist, only with Maniaplanet we will get more or less regularily DLC in form of titles.
Less frequently by Nadeo, and erratically by other users with their custom titles.
Apparently you did not see the message that Maniaplanet will see Lagoon, a stripped down or redesigned form of TMT's Rollercoaster Lagoon, somewhen next year - hopefully.
We might expect some updates of Maniaplanet, and then the TM community has to be strong.
After the release of TMT and hopefully TM² Lagoon, Nadeo will work on Shootmania.
[off topic: And who knows, perhaps they will do a "Shootmania Sliders" (as analogy: Trackmania has turbos, Shootmania has slides

TMT was not released now? No problem. At the moment the hype is on Star Wars.
Let them bring TMT when Christmas gifts became boring

Re: Petition to bring TMU environments to Trackmania²
I suppose also too I agree.. But since that Maniaplanet is played on a new platform.. boasting of the in-game titlepack features, it has a larger compatibility to work with other Maniaplanet titles. So to reason to convey, move over the old existing would hopefully introduce the main movement of players into Maniaplanet, which would be the self-closet of Maniaplanet.eyebo wrote: I guess Turbo will be the 6th or 7th remake and the 7th or 8th iteration of the environment.
Give it a rest already.![]()
So then would the propose, seeing the.. with Turbo seeded into the community brings the wild aspect of the racing gene into the community to allow a toss off the old, would be a optimistic approach for Maniaplanet, with a later futuristic integration into Maniaplanet.. while Maniaplanet undergo major critical adjustments.. urhm, to later platform the game, Turbo... I suppose.

Now why do you come here and lie straight to our face?Cerovan wrote:Unlikely, simply because we prefer to focus on Maniaplanet instead of looking backward.
You are working on selling the next version of half-finished game. You dont care about games that are allready released since they dont make more money.
At least be honest about it -.-
Re: Petition to bring TMU environments to Trackmania²
Like seriously, Maniaplanet is far better than United was already.. and with an upgrade in many areas..Smigles wrote:At least be honest about it -.-

So pushing the volume of attention on Maniaplanet, would only make sense, thus also more cash intake = more production, yeah?
Although.. thanks for the input, fellow gamer.
