I'm not sure, but I've always assumed that they shy away from things like that to keep up good frame-rates for a wider range of players. Even if it was a toggled option players with it turned off would have an advantage.

I bought TMT just to learn how Lagoon works and because of the flashy visuals (i love those).
Oh ,and also to rip the 3D models of the Turbo cars so they can be ported over to ManiaPlanet.

Still waiting anxiously, i didn't bought FO4, MadMax and other 2015 games just to pre-order Turbo.

I guess its the best to wait for Lagoon mp, but I will buy TmT for graphics and to support Nadeo.

I'm kinda assuming time pressure as well actually, because performance reasons are not really valid reasons if it can be hidden away behind some settings in the menu. But still, it's understandable :)

What about the track editor on consoles? How to use it with a controller?

Yeah, maybe after turbo we get something.

When I looked out on some gameplay of tmt on Stadium I saw cubemaps tied to the road (cubemaps = basically reflections)

Does that mean we will get kinda thing with the road same as NFS mw 2012 and rivals had? (puddles everywhere)

unless the roads are oiled or something.

The block cursor can certainly be moved with the axes, and there will be buttons for rotating / placing / elevating / deleting.
Of course it depends on the controllers, but editing will be a bit slower than with mouse + keyboard (I think).
