I'm not asking about campaign, mappacks etc. I asking about buying the same game twice. Lagoon is lagoon - is part of Turbo and will be part of Maniaplanet, right? So if I'll buy Turbo, I pay for Lagoon too (because I'll buy 4 envs), so why I should pay again for Lagoon later again? It seems to be not fair.Hylis wrote:Yes, you should have Lagoon on MP, but it's not Turbo on MP. Lagoon is an environment for a wider system and will have it's own campaign.
Or, if you think it's fair, just give people more fun this way - "buy the same game 4 times for yourself and then 5th time you'll get 20% discount".
Was really sad that you start to sell the same game (Stadium) twice, even for those who bough TMUF (I've check that almost all textures remains the same except two - grass and dirt, which have increased resolution that causes FPS drops for some players btw). And now people will buy Stadium 3rd time and other envs twice for regular price? That sounds really unfair for those who support Trackmania by buying stuff. Not even discount, just "buy Canyon, Valley and Stadium again and we'll give you Lagoon, some extra textures and different menu, and after few months you can buy the same Lagoon again with few different maps and probably 2 textures changed". This start to be a bad joke.
You don't even do that in case of Stadium - textures are the same. So - who is better?Cerovan wrote:You ask us what others studios don't do while their ports are easier than ours (usually just increase the resolution of the textures).
And please - don't tell us that other gamemakers do the same. TMUF has the same price for years, even if almost nobody plays it anymore (because of price for so old game maybe?). Tell me what game that is so old has that high price?
I don't really think that few different textures, some different maps (community makes thousand of maps for free and they usually better) or some extra gamemode is enough to sell the same game twice. Others just made DLC and free updates for free for that type of stuff. For most of players you can probably skip all this solo mode or strange gamemodes and remains just online TA/rounds and they will be the same happy.
And at the end:
Of course, I can pay for that. And because I paid for Maniaplanet and want to pay for Turbo, then I'll have all that stuff - new and old. So, Lagoon in Maniaplanet should be free for those who will buy Turbo, because they pay for new fancy stuff and they already paid for old MP stuff. I don't understand why someone should paid twice. Explain it please.Cerovan wrote:I'm talking about the new blocks, the double driver, the new customization car feature, the new trackbuilder, the new online infrastructure, the new unannounced game modes and the unannounced features.
