Re: TM2 stadium server question
hi,
maps with 1 or less checkpoints won't have dedimania records. There are some other rules as well I don't remember.

dedimania...http://dedimania.net/SITE/forum/viewtopic.php?id=147

This post is used to indicate changes about records, so players will have a chance to understand why perhaps their record has disapeared, or why it is not stored...
* A record with only one cp on a map which is known to have more should not be stored any more (i hope ^^).
* A record with unconsistent cp times will not be stored any more (ie: 1st cp should be >0, any cp should have a time > of previous, last cp should be same as the record time).
* A cleanup script has been used on 2008-11-26 evening/night which removed all records which does not follow those rules.
Notes:
- logically the servers scripts should make those sanity checks before sending, then give to the player the info directly (so he knows what happened), and not send it to dedimania !
Sadly i have not way actually to be absolutely sure about the number of cp of a map, so refusing records with different number of cp than the stored one would make many problems sad
- servers scripts should be able to know the real number of cp and make sanity checks on it. They should also take a validation replay at least for the best player time, then use it to verify that it is really the good times/cp/map before sending to dedimania : it would really avoid all unwanted wrong records.
I hope that all scripts will do it within few months...
* A cleanup script is run weekly, mainly to avoid having many unusefull entries in the database, which :
- rebuild indexes
- remove all records below 6s (except on nadeo's maps)
- remove maps/records of maps not played for 2 year.
- remove maps/records of maps not played for 1 year and with less than 12 records.
- remove maps/records of maps not played for 90 days and with less than 8 records.
- remove maps/records of maps not played for 60 days and with less than 6 records.
- remove maps/records of maps not played for 30 days and with less than 4 records.
- remove maps/records of maps not played for 15 days and with less than 2 records.
- remove maps without records added more than 8 days ago.
- remove players without records not connected on a dedimania server for more than 8 days
