Since you guys want off-topic out of the TMT questions thread, here's a good suggestion I think would be really cool for MP4:
3080 RTX, Ryzen 3700X, 32GB RAM, Windows 11

In the ultimate version of Maniaplanet, everything should be customizable

Re: Maniaplanet Update #4 - wishlist
Since I got no answers on the Turbo threads, I'll try out here. I forgot to mention this out, but Turbo has got a lot of improvements in term of sounds FXs that MP hasn't, and by that I mean brand new and not recycled ones.
Will ever its PC counterpart benefit of it in a near time ?

Re: Maniaplanet Update #4 - wishlist
Do you mean MP TM² Lagoon? Or MP in general?
Because the wording "PC Counterpart" is not well chosen, as Turbo will also be released on the PC platform,
so this is its own counterpart then

Re: Maniaplanet Update #4 - wishlist
To be fair, the 321GO thing can already be changed in Maniascripts. Which is good, but brings up another question:TMarc wrote:In the ultimate version of Maniaplanet, everything should be customizable
Maniascript gamemodes are still a little bit glitchy, why is that? Running scripted Time Attack and retiring after finishing sometimes just makes your camera stuck and you have to press retire again, holding accelerate before 321GO makes accelerate not count unless you hold accelerate during 321GO..
Those little things is why I prefer the legacy modes. Will we see some improvements there, as well?
(I'd also argue that personally I don't like the way the scoreboard for scripted Time Attack looks like, but eh, we can change that, so that's not a problem

Yeah, my bad, I was refering such as "maniaplanet environments counterpart".TMarc wrote:Do you mean MP TM² Lagoon? Or MP in general?

There's quite a lot of imrovements Turbo has that maniaplanet hasn't. Exhaust pop and flames, checkpoint whooshes, landscapes ambiances, and a much more audible tyre screeching fx. Since the "exhaust flames" effect is about to be a featurette for mp4, I don't except for it to make no sounds at all. So that would be quite nice if there's one affirmative answer.

Re: Maniaplanet Update #4 - wishlist
no map size maximum?
some rpg maps cant be played on server.
because their size is 1900kb / 2048kb - or 1750kb / 2048kb
private/own server have this "shit" too :/
my maps are already over 2mb , so "we" cant test in on "private" server ....
why still exist this maximum?

Re: Maniaplanet Update #4 - wishlist
I agree with Skyslide, server owners could be allowed to set their own limits (with or without a server tool to do it)
