No Keyboard input ingame w XBox1 Contr. [SOLVED]

Issue:
While the xbox one controller and a keyboard is plugged into your computer you can´t use the keyboard for input inside the game.
Happens since the last windows 10 update (see more informations & workarounds below)

No keyboard input is anymore possible (f.e. in the editor ctrl / alt / numpad etc.), but only inside an title while playing and inside the editor.
Inside the mainmenu everything seems ok (and ofc in other games all buttons/keyboard works fine)

May affected controllers:
- xbox one controller (wired & wireless)
- xbox 360 controller
- others maybe also

Tried things to solve this:
- flashing the keyboard with a new firmware (not solving this)
- shutdown/restart the computer (not solving this)
- reset the maniaplanet config (not solving this)
- searching for new win10 updates (09.03.2016) (not solving this)
- deplug the xbox one controller (solves the keyboard input issue -> but no controller^^)

Update & workarounds

→ UPDATE: Do this > viewtopic.php?f=468&t=37469&p=263943#p263935 and it will work ←

- driver in this update XINPUT compatible HID device [10.0.10586.122] seems to be the problem

- probably workarounds are:

• deinstall & block the last update kb 3140743 (not recommended)
• modify/replace the XINPUT HID driver to version 10.0.10586.0 (at your own risk)
• try to plug in the controller after loading the game (may not working properly)
• wait for a new win10 update/fix or a game manufactures fix (may the best solution)

Strange.
Try shutting down your pc then unplug it (the power) for a minute, plug it back in and turn it back on.
Sometimes this will reset the USB ports.

It´s an maniaplanet specific problem, all other apps/games etc. working fine - all buttons on the keyboard. Just in maniaplanet while inside an title there´s no keyboard input possible, only the topbar where you can write messages to your friends works with the keyboard.
That´s really strange :/

Tried already with shutdown, restart, reset, flash a new firmware to the keyboard etc. nothing helps, it´s only inside maniaplanet titles...

UPDATE:
Found the reason... If i deplug the xbox one controller all works fine, but why? It works all the time good while the xbox one controller was plugged in, but not anymore since 1 hour ago ??

I can confirm this. I have seen at least two players that have the same problem.
Keyboard is not working if Xbox One controller is on.

Do you have Windows 10? Maybe the recent updates broke something

yep windows10 and i guess you´re right that the last (win) update is the reason. May nadeo and/or microsoft have to fix that? (guess it´s more an nadeo related thing in cause that other games works still fine with controller+keyboard at the same time)

Anyway, the xbox one controller wasn´t fully integrated into maniaplanet (last nadeo update is very old and the one controller is much newer), so may in mp4 update should the controller situation dramatically changed (full xbox one controller + steam controller support -> may nadeo´s job)

it looks like an microsoft work ^^ So many games are influenced following this reddit, anyways; this should be fixed

In Steam, users have reported the same.
It seems one hotfix for Windows 10 (patch KB3140743) is causingt that.
And since there was no recent update of Maniaplanet, I doubt that the cause is with Maniaplanet.

I've got the same problem. It's very annoying and i guess we will have to wait for another Windows update for a fix, thats if Microsoft are aware of the problem.

There is also the possibility to revert such a patch and also block its installation in Windows update.
