Videos published by NADEO themselves, but in TMT instead of that a lot of videos from random people are showing up, there is a big difference here.djhubertus wrote:TM2 also had a lot of promotion via videos and look how it ends
I'm giving TMT 2 months, if it will drop to 300 peak, I will not buy it.
Congratulations on the Console Betas NADEO!

Not really because TM2 also had a lot of let's plays/movies etc. But well, we will see how it goes.Filipe1020 wrote:Videos published by NADEO themselves, but in TMT instead of that a lot of videos from random people are showing up, there is a big difference here.djhubertus wrote:TM2 also had a lot of promotion via videos and look how it ends

Indeed, we don't know what kind of impacts it will have.TMarc wrote:Actually we don't know which impact TMT will really have.
On PC, sure, we have had many different TMs already, so nothing really new.
But on consoles, it might be a blockbuster. Not as serious as car simulations, not as "dangerous" as GTA series, still funny enough but not as childish as e.g. Mario Kart or Sega Sonic.
I only fear that TMT users will rather be disappointed of the lack of shiny blinking stuff in Maniaplanet![]()
But let's wait for the release and the first months before we tell anyhting about its future
Nonetheless, I regard TMT as a harbour. They will either stay at the harbour or discover the wide and infinite lands of Maniaplanet. But they have to be prepared.. the population density on this beautiful land isn't that high

And I agree. I think Nadeo managed to create a game which will most likely reach a large target group. Although I have to admit that my friend said "This looks like Mario Kart" when I showed him the trailers a few days ago. Yet he was impressed by the valley environment trailer later on (just like me).
I claim that TMT will have a different future compared to Trackmania². A much more successful one. Just by considering that the game is present on PC as well as on xbox and PS4. And TMT's UI looks cleaner.. that's for sure. And² all the new and fresh casual features like the double driver or arcade mode! They will ensure an interesting and funny experience with friends!
We cannot and will not see any good future for TMT in the horizon if we do not keep a positive attitude. And I am 100% sure that TMT has all the reasons to be positive.. if we assume that TMT remains a harbour

Re: Congratulations on the Console Betas NADEO!
Like I always thought, TMT is mostly what TM2 should have been since the begining, a more user friendly interface with all of the environments together in one game, with a bunch of fun modes included in, and supported way more on youtube on it's beta stages, those things alone should make it way more successful
Re: Congratulations on the Console Betas NADEO!
it could have been long before the first release and without the chance to get there as well

I am sorry, but I don't know what you mean (the context). You answered to what?Hylis wrote:it could have been long before the first release and without the chance to get there as well

Turbo is made from all the work done since that period: people were waiting for TM² 6 years ago.Filipe1020 wrote:Like I always thought, TMT is mostly what TM2 should have been since the begining
For TM² to be what TMT is now, that means no TM² until today (almost).
