I played TM Turbo for a few hours now. Here are some points i want to mention:
+Quite fun to play in a 100p Lobby
+Times of left Players stay in the Ranking of the Round
+Performance is good
-Online Lobbys are quite strange - you cant rename them like "Fullspeed [clantag] for example
-No way to share maps ingame (How should maps spread when there is no way to present them to other players) You literally need to open a online Lobby with your tracks to share them with ppl in the world. Perhaps there will be a website where your can share and download tracks but in 2016 you should have this feature ingame
-Checkpoint times: In TMNF the Checkpointtimes were perfect, why change it and put it on the bottom of the screen where you cant watch for a long time while driving
-No way to deactivate the enemy ghosts
-No save of your own best times when you reach em online. Personal best from last time driving the map isnt on the top left when you drive it another time
-Laags when restarting when 80-100 ppl are in a lobby
-Rankings are bugging. Since i play this morning, your system says no more ppl got ranked since i play, at the moment im 107/897, when i started playing about 5 hours ago, i was 897/897 so i think its bugged also im 1/5 in bavaria, 1 hour ago i was 1/6 in bavaria. Please check this
-No fucking WR rankings? that is one of the best features TMNF has from mods, why not implement it?
-When driving its taking hours to check which time is best on the server right now. I need to press TAB and then about 10 times ctrl right to go through the whole fucking ladder to see the first place ( You could just put the first 10 players at the Side of the screen always showing them)
-Fucking annoying emote/greetingstab that always spams half of the screen with about 1k "Hello!"s or "Great game"s
-Chat is so tiny what i think is bullshit (delete this greetings thing and make Chatwindow bigger)
Not enought reputation for winners of the game. You see the first 3 cars for like a second and then the next maps load, why should i want to go for rank 1 in one race when noone sees i was first at the end.
-only 2 camera angles? are you serious?

Can't agree more.
Especially the facts that you cant reassign Gamepad buttons and the stupid ghosts of 100people that can't be turn off makes this game unplayable atm.

Re: Some things i want to mention!
I would like to know who decided all this. Was it Nadeo's idea to do a console port for PC or Ubisoft's?
My guess it was Ubisoft, they've made bad PC ports in the past. Also i just knew when Nadeo decided to partner with Ubisoft, their games would go downhill. TMT is just the start, don't expect other TM games to be any better if they make more.

I'm afraid you are right.. I stopped believing in the great potential Nadeo HAD.. they just lost it with Ubi.. VERY SAD ReallyCaketaker wrote:I would like to know who decided all this. Was it Nadeo's idea to do a console port for PC or Ubisoft's?

Re: Some things i want to mention!
Can you imagine how many PC users would be pissed as hell if Nadeo announced they are making TMT only for consoles? Granted some are disappointed to a degree with this release but many would act far more furious if they learned that TMT would be released only on consoles.Caketaker wrote:I would like to know who decided all this. Re: Some things i want to mention!
No one cared about it when it came out for the nintendo wii actually.
In my opinion, they should have scrapped the PC version and only worked on the PS4 and Xbox version. Would be way less complains now and maniaplanet would be the distinct PC version.

Although I agree to this, only those who know Trackmania for longer time are complaining most, tcq wrote:No one cared about it when it came out for the nintendo wii actually.

as if they did never read anything about Turbo, and now they are surprisingly surprised, upset and confused that it is a console game on PC...
The only sad thing is that all those information was not there already when they started selling Turbo,
and that the game is visually almost the same if you remove the bling bling, but that much different regarding the usage. Because then I would not have preordered it, and first tried the demo.

I don't say Turbo is bad. It is a great opportunity for all the new people. It looks like the Trackmania we should always have had.
But it's not feeling like the known Trackmania. Controls are different, and already ba this I feel uncomfortable. I just played one track and was not incited to continue driving, so bad the feeling was.

I guess they made it that different on purpose, so the old Trackmaniacs don't have any advantage against all new players.
