A patch is absolutely necessary for PC

Its not a replacement, because not all the content is copied into TMT.
Because all the things that can be modified and organised, like servercontrollers, dedimania, fully dedicated servers, own cars, own skins, embedded objects, etc. etc. are all not in TMT, but in MP

If it was a replacement, why would there be a MP 4.0 coming? And yes, what would be the use of a maniaplanet solo for shootmania. Just think of TMT as a spin-off just for consoles, where the console-versions are also available for pc's.

I really would be happy if NADEO would clarify this, because a lot of people dont understand the difference now between TMT and MP. They just expect indeed a follow-up or a replacement, and are loudly screaming for a lot of functions only MP has to offer and not TMT.

So to avoid dissapointment imo it is ABSOLUTELY nescessary for NADEO
to explain the difference between TMT and MP!

Agreed, met a guy online on my first day playing, thinking that TMT was actually "TM3"! Nadeo needs to clarify this because it's very confusing to those who are not keeping up with it.

This is what happens when you release a game on PC that should've never been released in the first place. I mean seriously....why even bother releasing TMT on PC, when there are already plans to include Lagoon and the updates to the other three envs. in Maniaplanet 4.0? It would have been better if they simply made us wait until MP 4.0 and leave this console game where it belongs......on the consoles!

Of course this game is "simple". It´s Trackmania Turbo, a game designed for consoles and "ported" to PC to not disappoint the pc gamers or trackmania-fans too much. I agree, missing gamepad-settings is ridiculous... but feature-wise it´s designed to be simple/for consoles.

Dunno why this discussion is so big after release. Nadeo said weeks, even months, ago, what TMT is. They said it´s designed for consoles, it´s arcade-style, it´s for the drivers and that the pc version will not get any big special treatments.

I have the feeling people expected here something like TM Ultimate, the holy grail for trackmaniacs, with all 10 envis playable without titles on one server, incl. dedicated servers, manialinks, maniascript, maniahome, ...

The biggest critic we can say to Nadeo (and nobody can deny this) is that THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T PUT A PC-BETA !!
With a PC-beta, all of this sh*t would have never happened, and TMTurbo would have been a better game. Take a lesson out of this

Without "ubi" there was probably no NADEO anymore. So deal with the present and learn from the past

No offence, but you are the one picking up old vids and pics from the past of Trackmania or even Shootmania. Perhaps you should also read whats the history of Nadeo. Why they were forced to start a freezone etc etc. Then you would know why Ubisoft is here. You cant change how it is and you have to make the best out of it. Where people are working mistakes will be made besides the good things they produce. Its no use to say what if..
What if doesnt help anything.
So back on topic please.

Because this topic is about TMT and the bugs that are found.
