[TM2] Can't update Canyon

[TM2] Can't update Canyon

I haven't played TM2Canyon in a very long time.

Upon starting the game, it says "Your game version (2011-08-11_23_00) is no longer supported by master server, please update your game." I click OK, click Connect on the next screen, and it brings me back to the "Your game version is not supported" message. I tried logging into the Maniaplanet website with the account I bought TM2Canyon with, but the website doesn't recognize my email address OR password (even though I have them written down from when I originally bought the game).

How am I supposed to update?

You have different possibilities.
I would recommend you to login to the player page, go to Accounts, Downloads, download the full Canyon setup and install it over the existing files.

Is there any way to change my account's email or password from this site?

No, you can only change the mail from inside the game, there in the profile.
But if you still have access to your originally configured mail, you can use the small link "reset password" at the player page login screen.
If not, you will need to contact Ubisoft support to make them change your mail.
But this might take some time, and they will need a proof of purchase along with probably the game key.

That's a shame. I bought the game five years ago and didn't think I'd need to hold on to them. I now wish I'd waited to buy them from Steam instead... Oh well, I'll see what I can do.
