A few statistics

Post by TMarc »

Up to now, there are the following ranked player counts, not bad for the release weekend plus a few betas:

PC: 34447
https://players.turbo.trackmania.com/pc ... d&page=345#
(copy that entire link into your browser to see it, it's broken here because of the braces... )

X-Box One: 206081
https://players.turbo.trackmania.com/xb ... ?page=2061

PS4: 404668
https://players.turbo.trackmania.com/ps ... ?page=4047

Of course this does not tell how many of them are currently online.
I just checked for the PC version, there are about 724 players (manually summed up all servers with players).
For PS4 and X-Box one I can't tell, should be some more?

For comparison, TM² Stadium has alone 610 players at the moment (source: http://www.maniaviewer.com/index.php?site=statistics).

Let's see when the "fresh & new game bonus" is over and things have settled down a bit in a few weeks...

Congratulations Nadeo & Ubisoft for a good start

Already a great amount of players in PS4! Impressive start on console, but does this count the free demo players ? If yes, that could mislead a little bit.

sure, it is all users. I can't see from the available page which one is a free account and which not.
Take it only as an indicator ;)

Ehmm... it count all the people that have tried the Beta/Demo on consoles... useless data.

the only real data is for PC users. i doubt there are more than 30k paid accounts on PS4 and XBOX. but that remains good. gg NADEO.

now do like the other big games and work on a good cross platform. this would be awesome!

Don't doubt that. Trackmania is a very new experience for console players, and I've seen a lot of buzz on Twitter and the likes about Turbo on consoles (even from people I follow that I would never expect to see Trackmania content from, like movie producers).

Im playing on ps4. For how much can be useful, i see 20,000 players that have completed singleplayer tracks (those who were not included in beta and demo ;) ). I thought these numers, along with the 800 active players on pc, were not really good, but if you are saying that are good.....i dont know anymore how good are things on maniaplanet :?

I agree. Numbers have been low for such a long time that anything higher is seen as a 'succes' when in fact it's still pretty low. Better but low nontheless.
