Searched the forums quite thoroughly, however can't see any posts on this since 2011.

Has anyone got this working successfully / well?

A team mate of mine used to play canyon with it and it worked quite well. He stopped around 2013-2014, but during that time he didn't have any problems.

You might want to reduce the range of steering (for example 90° to the left and 90° to the right, check the logitech profiler for this) and put gas and break on the rocker switch and you are ready to go. Of course he used to turn off all of the rumble features to concentrate on the driving.
