Bugs in Super Solo Mode

for us, it's very important to make a good game for top players and the super solo is the answer, but it's indeed a luxury we can't really afford to make it as perfect as we would like it to be. By the way, for the little story, the black background and the cheatcode were the last thing we did I think on the game ^_^

My Super Solo Mode is completely broken in this regard.

Any track I exit will then cause problems. It seems to randomly show me STM medals on tracks I do not have them on, and others I do have them on it will not show them. Then when I enter a track again, any track, the medal times are something completely different. It shows Gold times that are slower than Silver, and Silver slower than Bronze, and the times shown are not even for that track. I then played a track, got what I knew to be an STM time and I recieved no medal. Then when i exited that track it randomly decided to show different tracks with STM times achieved that didn't have them and vice versa.

If I restart, it fixes it, but only once. Again, any track I enter and then exit and they are all messed up again. There's no way to determine what times I do have or don't have or even to tell what medal times to go for. It's completely jacked up for me.

Any chance this will be looked into or ever fixed? Nothing works properly for me in this mode. Medal times on every track are broken, there's no way to know what I need to progress. It just shows random times on every track that have nothing to do with what track I'm on. It also doesn't award any medals when i do get them and won't show them until I restart completely. Each and every time. Really, really annoying.

Also, the in-game ranking is completely broken. I got a bronze medal and lost 700 places immediately. Then I got a silver medal and gained 600 places. Then I went to rank 191 for no reason, then the next run I was 189, then the next run I was rank 42.

Try Shift+Scroll Lock to refresh the game without having to restart it. It's just a workaround, but makes it at least a bit less annoying. I really wish the issues get fixed, but as Hylis already stated, these issues aren't of high priority because it doesn't affect many players after all...

Of course that if we made the mode, it's to be played with fun. So, if we have the opportunity to fix it, we will.

Okay, tyvm Riolu, Shift+Scroll Lock is not too bad since the game loads so fast. I must have missed that if it was stated earlier, but ty, that does make it much better. I got a bit disappointed since I'm enjoying this mode quite a bit. It's really nice to have harder medals for non-Canyon tracks to give me something to work towards. Like, extra motivation to play more than just Canyon 90% of the time.

Another note is that track progression is a bit buggy. Since it appears times for Super Solo Mode are migrated from the standard campaign the next stage of tracks can be unlocked by playing in the regular mode. For example, I didn't have enough medals to unlock the stadium tracks as I hadn't played but a couple Lagoon tracks and didn't have the 30 SSM medals required. The game stated 21/30 bronze required to unlock. But on the next medal I earned the stadium tracks were unlocked. It looks as though I have times further down in the campaign that are good enough for medals in super solo mode and even though they aren't unlocked yet (in this mode) they still count towards the unlocks anyway.

You need to drive at least .xx0 or faster than the given STM time to receive the medal. In #011's case, you need .470 or faster.
