I don't think any of both. The map editor is simple and easy to use and gives enough diversity as well imo. But there are other things which are quite hard for beginners. For example the game doesn't expalin you how to use teleporter and the experinced players need to explain it to the new players. Also a lot of new players don't understand the mode they are playing because nobody will take a look on the rules in the spawn.

This are things NADEO could work at.
