Bigass maps

Post by Vrba »

Is there any way to play or to import the map that is e.g. 128x128x128 size? Or if it's even possible to build such thing in TM2. Any help is appreciated as I've searched multiple forums but couldn't find the thing.

I know there's a 64x64x55 stadium basemap. I have it in my dropbox if you want it

I don't think a 128^3 RPG map would fit in. :P

All of our last tracks on NRL ISLAND SRE use 64x64 base, they are done only with customs blocks (roads and sceneries items).
And mostly items are overflowing of the construction terrain, due of tracks styles ( nascar alias high speed multilaps tracks), thanks to pivots.

A 128x128 base will be very welcome in our title, SRE.

It's up to mappers to use the proper base, to not overload the tracks, and build playable online ones.
Any help/request about SRE title, NRL races, NRL ROC, NRL Events.....

they had this size available for tm united, to even really large sizes, 256+ but it caused alot of excess hang, but
128/128 was decent for some larger builds. I dont know where to find a 128, but it shure would be nice to know where I can it can be found, anyone?

"64²is normal too, just a thing activated in the titlepack"

it was just included with the titlepack, but its also downloadable to be opened with mpeditor. Most of my stadium tracks on maniaexchange use the 64x64 grid. Nevertheless does maniaplanet even support larger? idk, but would be nice if there was 126 and 256, or just simply custom. :D
