Rotation bug is bug caused selecting autorotation item placed on terrain or other item and then if you select it in gridsnap mode
How to:
1. open map editor
2. try to place object with autorotation on other object or on terrain
3. press F4
4. select the object placed with ctrl + click
5. press F4
6. done!

Can't you just use the numpad buttons to rotate objects?

you can rotate objects vertical and horizontal 15° by pressing the key. But anyway you won't get (for example) a straight road you rotatet 45° without bumps. But the best way is, to rotate it in your 3d software, so you have it exactly
