TM Android rip-off (IDK what to think about this, really...)

Post by GKRacer »

Hello people,

This is me finally deciding to contribute to this vibrant community, and TBH I wish it was under better circumstances...

It has unfortunately come to my attention that as I type this, some bozo out there is actively plundering TMF assets (along with some community-created cars) to reuse in their Android racing shovelware. See by yourselves  :

Last time I checked, reusing TM assets on other games without Nadeo's expilicit approval is strictly prohibited. I'd appreciate if the community (and possibly Nadeo officals) could take a closer look at this issue.

I gotta admit, I only vaguely thought this would be possible...until my sister showed me it on her tablet, and god was it broken!

Barely any optimization work, I had no idea it was possible to make lowpoly stuff so laggy. And don't get me started on the handling and controls layout

Wanna know the ironic part? None of my car model releases were exploited, despite the fact I near-always share their .3ds files. My wild guess is that they rely on TMF for map creation, and capture it using DX-ripping software...

Some people in the Ratings are saying that they now maybe wont buy TMT or other Trackmania Titles since this game is so bad, so some think this is an official game..
You should really try to get it off the PlayStore fast <.<

That's their therapist's headache, not ours. Like, are they really dumb enough to mistake this trainwreck for an official title? :|

According to the DMCA (which virtually every US-based website must abide by), I don't own TM as an intellectual property, ergo I have no business in lodging a takedown notice. This is why I'd apperciate to hear back on this very thread from a NADEO Crew member so they can file this form right here ;)
