Mood settings xml file?

I just tried using the default code for Stadium/Night Mood.MoodSettings.xml (from this page) and it always crashes on 100% map load unless I only use this setting: https://i.snag.gy/OZV10m.jpg

With this setting it loads the map in the editor, shows nearly complete darkess and crashes when I click validate.

What I'm trying to do is change the 1-3 light colours to "ff0018". Is the color in the correct format in the first place?

I read in the thread that "ModWorks are no longer functions as should" but it looks like it could work with the right code.

Anyone can throw me a bone?
