EDIT: I switched to the normal .exe again and now its working. Problem solved itself i guess! Thank you

I have the same problem as latoupijve, since updating, after booting the game, it shows the maniaplanet logo pixelated for a second and then instantly crashes. I also tried it via the steam versions, but the game crashes instantly too. Any idea why this could happen?

My specs:
Intel i7-2600K @3.4 GHz
16 GB Memory
2TB HDD Samsung HD240UI
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970
Gigabyte Motherboard

Thank you. I replaced the .exe with the normal one and booted it, game crashed again. Where can i find the logs that the new .exe creates?

I launched the game again to get the logs (i know where to find them now) and this time, it worked. Maniaplanet did another update and said it needed to be restartet to finish. It closed and appeared back in windowed mode with a blackscreen, then it crashed again. Now everytime i launch it it works, but tells me it needs to restart to finish, then the same thing happens as just described. Here are the logs:

Hello Nadeo

after amazing work from LuckyBoy during the Beta, he managed that I could play the game with my Laptop.
Now though, with the update from MP3 to MP4 it again does not work to start the game.

The game does not produce any LogCrash files this time. There is just an empty UGCErrorsLog.txt in my Maniaplanet folders to find.

So I can provide you only with the 2 screenshots, what happens when starting the game:

It would be really nice, if you could help out again in this case, and it is urgent, as I gonna have to drive a cup on Sunday

I had the same problem, I found out it was one of my old profiles that crashed the games thanks to the logs (use the one linked by Hylis)

Why the Stadium looks SOOOO Ugly the new update looks like a chinese bootleg version of the game :/
Anyways to set the old texturepack back?

Seems that im having trouble opening the game as well. I have the steam version and tried opening Shootmania,Canyon,Stadium and Valley. It says im in game, My steam freezes, a notice saying my "graphics card cannot be found, automatic settings might be inadequate" and then it says im not longer in game.

Don't know whats wrong.

I would have expected a little more quality after 2-3y of waiting.
The update is a huge let down. I think I could easily report 30-40bugs (small & big) after playing for 20min (and trying to play for 30min).

I dont understand how this made it to the public.

(same opinion shared with the 5players I played with.)

Dunno if this is so say urgent, but in local play and solo, if i play a map and then try again after finishing my round, i cant turn HUD back on.

Not sure if this has been reported but: In Canyon Editor, I select preview snapshot and the latest blocks list overlays the snapshot window (top left of screen). Cannot save the snapshot and all controls cannot be used. Screen seems to be locked.

I am not able to save the map or return to main menu.

* Also, when starting a new map, I don't see the Mod selection menu...

I tryed to launch with it but an error message : "libwebp.dll is missing"...
then I install again the game and again the same message. What can I do to find this file ?
