Trackmania² Lagoon Special Beta for Trackmania Turbo PC owners

This may sound negative but it is just an observation from my perspective: All this confusion between three different launch systems (Steam, Uplay and Maniaplanet) is exactly why I refuse to give in to these third party launchers. I will not use Steam or Uplay and this Topic is a good example why. I know people will disagree but it is simply my opinion and I have yet to hear a good argument to use them. (To be clear, I don't consider MP a third party launcher)

It is better to publish accurate information. If the information is blurry, it was better to write just about the beta without the free full version. Nothing complicated.

I bought Trackmania Turbo on Uplay, and I have Trackmania 2 Stadium on Steam. Maniaplanet is already installed, so I tried to get the Uplay demo of SM. Now this happened: Corrupted installation. Please reinstall the game. I reinstalled, I deleted my whole ManiaPlanet, I deleted Everything that had to do with it, I made a new file named "ManiaPlanet2" so it don't gets broken with "ManiaPlanet". Nothing helped... On the Maniaplanet site, it tells me to install it on the same envoirment, so Uplay, but nothing seems to work. Now what? Help plz.

At the installation of the demo, you should indicate another folder. It will overwrite the icons for Maniaplanet on the desktop, but this is easy to revert manually later.

Now that you have trouble, install the demo, use it for the lagoon beta registration process (if it is not already too late now),
and then remove the demo, and install the regular Maniaplanet again.
I would advise you not to use Maniaplanet from Steam if you don't absolutely need the Steam Workshop.

It should be there. If you were able to register for the beta, you should see it.
Perhaps you need to try to go the the menu "select title from the store".

It worked for me directly at the first start. It was there as new title in the stations.
Make sure to login with the user for which you had registered
And also make sure to have all stations displayed.
The only thing I had to do then was to click on the station to have the title data downloaded.

Sadly I did not find a topic for beta feedback (bugs, issues) except this one.
You might use Lagoon Beta bugs and issues feedback for reports,
and the present topic for registration and installation issues still.

I checked if I used my correct login (just been on the page where it says access to the beta has been granted and checked my login).
No beta anywhere (login via Steam/Maniaplanet).

Nothing there for me either.

TMarc, the public beta doesn't start until the 18th. You are in a closed beta.
