[TM2] [SOLVED] Connection - Disconnect every new map/round

Post by ULTI »

Hello.

after the MP4 update I get this problem whenever the server loads a new map/next map my game would say 'Please wait' with the map in the background. A few seconds later the camera would glide behind the start as usual, but my car wont be there and 'Please wait' still shows. After the camera glide the camera goes back to saying 'Please wait' with the map in the background. I can see players driving on it and my chat works fine, but after about 30 seconds I would just get disconnected and the statement 'Game interrupted: Disconnected from server( something like that )'.

After I click OK the server randomly loads again and everything is working fine.

This is very frustrating specially for ESL and other comp races as you cant afford to get random dc's.

I have tried a few stuff:

1. Port forward
2. Playing around with game/network settings
3. Different servers
4. Restarting PC and Routers
5. Reinstalling the game

None worked, and as I stated. The game ran perfectly for a year with MP3

-Hardware (MSI GTX 1060 6G, AMD FX 6300, 8GB Crucial Ballistix RAM, 2x 500GB HDDs, MSI Gaming 970 Mobo)
-System (Windows 10) and system account type: Single user
-Network (DSL 2MBPS)
-Default browser (Chrome)
-Antivirus : Windows firewall and Windows defender 8-)

2 More problems:

1. My countdown is bugged. Each round in Rounds mode my countdown get quicker and quicker till there isnt any at all. The race just starts exactly as a spawn in and i get about .500 behind the other guys somehow. This cant be due to my slow line as ppl with slower lines run the game fine.

2. The spectator is broken. Players are stuck at the start with their wheels spinning, but times are still updating. I was so happy with MP4 the 1st week :(

Did you restrict the DSL usage in the Maniaplanet launcher settings? This might also help.

I thought of the same. I redownloaded the game twice now and also tried the steam version. I tried DSL 8mb and 2mb. Still nothing. Must be network. Guys say that my car is at the start of the track when they try and spec me. Very weird problem i have here

Oh and i realised the problem cam up after the 2nd mp4 update. The game worked fine when mp4 got released

did you not try "custom", to give a bandwith half of your real one?
Also measure it with speedtest.net or similar before entering the values.

Here are the stats the next map when the thing just stops working :
*note* the UDP keeps jumping between 92 and 72 each second
