External links dont work.

Hi, I'm writing because, after the update to mp4, everytime i try to use a external link the Microsoft Edge opens and no site is shown, just the site i chose to appear, despite the fact that i choose the Google Chrome as my main browser.

Some can help me?

that issue is caused by an major windows10 update, you have to re-assign inside your windows settings the main app for opening websites

click on the windows symbol down left > type standard (a list with all available settings should appear, choose standard apps) > set the web browser to edge > hit ok > open again the standard app settings > choose your preferred browser (chrome in your case) > hit ok

The step to set standard browser to edge is needed, if in your settings are still chrome (and it won´t be used by maniaplanet)

now open maniaplanet and try again, all should work now with your standard chosen browser (chrome in your case)

I'm running on Windows 10 currently. There is no in-game setting that might be disabled ?

when i followed the instructions from xrayjay the browser that was set as prefered was the one that didnt work (google chrome) so i had to choose another browser, close the program responsible to set the programs i prefered in every area, re-open it and re-choose the browser i prefered in first place (google chrome). so try to choose another browser, close the program, re-open it and go back to the browser that you like.

Thanks for the answer, I tried, to no avail. But my problem seems different since nothing opens at all, while you had Edge opening. It really annoying ! I hope someone will come with a solution
