So if I buy Turbo today or tomorow on Uplay, Lagoon won't be free

Seriously I don't understand this situation ...

Well, that's reasonable. The whole point of the deal was to reward people who bought Turbo. Buying Turbo after the free item comes out kinda defeats the purpose of that. It also doesn't really make sense to spend $39.99 just to get a $19.99 item.

As it turns out, I found the original message where the deal was stated. Also, console support was considered after all, though they weren't sure on that and it's reasonable they couldn't do it. But for the deal itself, any business in the world would be seen as questionable for doing something like this.

As long time TM fan, I'm pretty disappointed at Nadeo's lack of transparency. I found out about TM2 Lagoon getting finally released after the the launch day, immediately came looking how I could redeem the free environment as that's what Nadeo staff led me to believe I would get a long time ago.

Just giving the free Lagoon to TMT owners who knew about secret beta and no-one else was just a slap to loyal supporters face. I really wonder if this pays off for Nadeo because while some fans of the series most likely just suck it up and "rebuy" Lagoon, they probably lose lots of people who have supported them during all these years. I've been buying every addition to the series for the past 10 years but this makes me reconsider supporting them anymore.

This approach can't be good for the companys reputation or good for it's sales if/when they ever try to do a stunt like this again.

I'm playing Canyon since 2012 and bought Vally few days after release.


Personal thoughts to MP4
Channels nice to play with a massiv amount of players, except for chase mode. If you get into a team with player, who knows how to play chase, then it makes really really fun (love that mode with a good team). But with players they are afk or don't know or wont know/listen to you to get a teamwork going.
I loved Vally before MP4 update, some Physics have changed (on dirt aswell). Btw @Hylis is there a way to get the old physics back for single player mode?

My Personal like Meter has changed to "Canyon <3 , Valley is playable, Stadium is playable to" from "Vally <3 <3 <3 , Canyon <3, Stadium is playable (Chase mode <3)".


About Lagoon Beta - My Trys...
It was well hidden, as my friend told me yesterday how he got Lagoon beta with TMT via Steam few hours ealier, "really easy, just install and play few minutes" Then i have tried to get it to via Uplay, as written in Webinterface.

But there were 2 Problems yesterday(23. May): 1. Downloading Shootmania Elite Dome doesn't worked 2. Yesterday(23. May) i have clicked the Register Button for Lagoon Beta in Webinterface, but it's gone today.
I don't know what uplay have done, downloading Shootmania worked today(24. May), until playing. I pressed play in uplay it showed an error message up "Corrupted installation. Please reinstall the game." i have tried different combinations with settings in the installation guide with default and costum folders, but it didn't worked. BUT Surpisingly MP installed via Uplay works, just pressed "Ok" on that Error Message and MP started like normal.

No Luck for unlocking Lagoon.

I hope there is coming something for community/the loyal players, because no players = no gameplay in multiplayer = no way to get new players

Sorry for a kind of that long post. Didn't wanted to get that long. Just wanted to Like rizu's post.

If it wasn't promised then the post should have said something along the lines of "Yes, we wish to give Maniaplanet Lagoon for free to every Trackmania Turbo owner, but it has yet to be confirmed if we can do it." As the post is now it's wholly understandable that people would take his post to mean "When Lagoon comes out we will get it for free if we own TMT".

Well Rizu, if it was not clear before it's simply because we fougth internally until the very end to explain why it would have been great to welcome all TMT players. And the best we were 'able' was to inform and reward through the beta participation. Since we have waited a lot to get answers, we had to give the news lately.

This being said, to players that say that they are supporting us since 10 years and now that they are done, after so many updates Forever and mp from 1 to 4, and with 90 euros to spend to have all that we did on Trackmania over the last 10 years, I think that these additional 20 euros, are reasonable. And the fact that we gave lagoon to community players that were supporting us during the beta, but with a limited edition to avoid to split too much with players that are maybe absent for a time, is rather positive than negative in my pov.

In the end, we tried to do our best, like we always do because it's logical. If you think we don't, then it's starting badly the reasoning.

You can't say that especially after releasing such a bad game that is TMT. As I said before I have almost all your games. If T2 Lagoon came out paid after T2Stadium I wouldn't have said anything and bought it. But now that you released such a bad game, making us thing we would get it for free as a compensation and now we have to buy it. I'm not buying anything from you anymore now.
You guys just played with the words to keep us hyped and then that's it. You do realize that you are just destroying yourselves and losing your most loyal fans right ?
