Can't access my TM2 Canyon - "key is already used"

I own TM2 Canyon, Stadium, and Valley, and I'm trying to play TM2 Canyon. But when I launch it, and log into my PM account, I get this message.



I originally purchased the game before it was on Steam, though I'm now trying to launch it from Steam.

By the way, Mania Planet is extremely non-intuitive, messy, and just a pointless hassle to deal with. Why can't Nadeo just make the games launch like normal games? There's no good purpose to Mania Planet, it's just there to do... who knows what. I hope that it will be removed in the future, and the games will work normally, which would be a much improved situation to all the hoops that currently need to be jumped through to play TM games. The menus in ManiaPlanet don't even make sense, and stuff isn't even organized where it's logical. And there's no clear direction in the UI. It's just bizarre, and total nonsense that gamers don't deserve to have to put up with after buying a game. Sorry for the blunt criticism, but Planet Mania is just a pointless layer of mess between owning a TrackMania game and playing it, and I imagine a lot of people don't care to deal with it and so don't bother playing TM.

It seems the problem is that my TM2 games are on different Mania Planet accounts, even though they're all in one Steam account.

Is there a way I can merge my TM2 Canyon activation with the Mania Planet account that my TM2 Valley and TM2 Stadium are activated with, so that all 3 of my TM2 games are on the same Mania Planet account?

As far as I know, merging accounts is not possible.
If your purchase is relatively recent, you might be able to redeem it and purchase it again, this time activating the key for the correct account.

Your complains about the menus are somehow justified.
But one thing you should know: Steam does not allow the full function of Maniaplanet, therefore you always have to exit the game completely bevor starting another Trackmania title in Steam.
This limitation is not there in the native client.
And once you have activated all titles via Steam, you can switch more seemlessly between them in the standalone version.
