HD/SD Update v1.70615 download issues

Hi,

I'm new to trackmania and have bought the lagoon DLC.
Every time I try to play, an update appears either for HD or SD.
I have spent over 15hours (steam game time) trying to download either update pack but it fails after a random time period.
Am I able to download the pack from a website or something other than from within maniaplanet and manually install?
I cannot play unless the download completes and it won't finish

Its not a firewall or a space issue. (500GB free space on C: and my games drives)

Sometimes the download reaches 30% and other times it reaches 5% before failing.
Please help me as I'd love to play this game but I am losing hope..
