Trackmania Stadium - can't connect to internet

i have this problem where everytime i open Trackmania Stadium, i know im connected to the internet but when i try to create an account to go online, it comes up with: Account creation failed. Error: Cannot connect to server (12092) Retry?
Could anyone please help? i bought both Stadium and Canyon and i cant play either D:

It is certainly 12029, and this is a timeout error.
Either your antivirus, Defender or firewall are blocking Maniaplanet.
Perhaps another tool like Teamspeak, Xfire, WAMPP etc.

Try to run Maniaplanet with adminstrator priviledges.
Check your network configuration.

And before running Maniaplanet, close all applications and tray tools that can be closed, wait 2 minutes.

Thanks for the reply but im pretty sure its not my firewall cos im using McAfee and you can choose which programs can connect to the internet and the bx where it says allow this program to access the internet is ticked. Also, how do you enable admin privileges? i only just bought the game a few days ago and dont understand most buttons or settings.
