Maniaplanet in Space?

Perhaps it is also only their internal name for the development environment.
Like Eclipse IDE names...

Or the Orbital, a low-level PlayStation 4 emulator (https://github.com/AlexAltea/orbital) ?

Isn't that some Shootmania thing? I remember that being a gamemode or something. Also, where do you see this? :P

Seen it several times in my buddy list already.. Nadeo members playing on servers running on "OrbitalDev" tp by an engine account. Apparently Orbital is in the CollectionsId list, so it might also be an environment or a mode or something. I've seen it the first time around January, no idea what it could be though..

As long as no one's looking, I'm in that orbital, too. ;-)

Yes, there are three collection ID's in this group: Vehicles, Orbital and Actors

Orbital used to be called Figurines.

If Vehicles stands for the collection of cars in TrackMania and Actors for the players in ShootMania, then Orbital could be the camera view from which you click on the figurines in RPG games like QuestMania...? :?

I've been wondering for a longer time what Orbital stands for and I still have no idea.

It's a former project around Maniaplanet. It is now our labotary on which we test stuff. I can't talk about it since it's possible that we resume on it at one point.

It's an Electron ^_^

There's several hidden vehicle physics modes in MP4 that I can think of :P

Lol xD. No fake xDDD

But imagine orbital would be an sm environment. There would be soooo many possibilitys.
-weightlessness (and with it even more 3dimensionality than for example the magnetblocks)
-spaceship battles
-total sci-fi-experience with spacestations, explosions, all the things which - if they were in cinema - would be "too much CGI"

-most important no need for nadeo to search textures for the background environment: Just take a black wall and put a few dots on it (if this is too hard for you, I can do it for you :) xD).
