Problem:
Whenever i try to apply a UV for a face the selection of vertices i chose wont show up, even if i click the apply button.
Cause:
It worked fine just recently and i'm not sure what's causing it. i do have a lot of custom items though so perhaps there is a limit on how many you can store?.
It still applies any basic texture just fine but i can not edit anything with custom UV's.

There are a few issues with the item editor at the moment and I think that one has been reported.
It seems like an odd one to happen and it really does limit things at the moment. I'm sure they will get that one fixed soon.
Also, I'm 99% sure it doesn't matter how many objects you have.

On the subject of the editor, this might be a bit off topic but at the same time sort of relevant. It would be nice if there was a psuedo vertex which you could create an infinite ammount of slices from, as to later select individual sectors of it and make Groups from there(kind of like a reference Point instead of a vertex that could inly be deleted in its own sepparate mode etc). also the option to turn on/off automatic Group assignment would be sweet, as it sometimes tend to mess with things. cheers!

Well, I'm not really sure but, I recently had an item that after an update caused crashes to desktop. It is my understanding that this particular bug was nailed down and fixed and the item will no longer cause a crash. I'd suggest setting it aside until the next update (should come soon) and see if it still has issues after that. Although if you were working on it during the crash this sounds like a different bug.
I'm not sure how long you have been playing Maniaplanet but the ingame Item editor is a very new addition and actually still a work in progress so it is bound to have some issues here and there but on the good side of things it keeps getting better and more powerful to use. I really like the feature.

Posting here in case you guys have noticed it already, the game crashes when you cut away blocks (well technically youre supposed to use the eraser but the cut tool is way faster). UV´s work fine as far as i know, thanks

Yeah, didn't have time to put a commit in, but it's there now and should be fixed for next update.
