But uh when I try to open it (from the good folder this time) steam says the update configuration isn't good... Anyone knows how to fix that ?

I think you should install the StandAlone Version of Maniaplanet and not the Steam one.

But not 100% sure!

That would be the best way for sure. I'm surprised the logs version has that check though.

Where can I find the StandAlone version ?
Will I lose my medals, maps or replays ?

At de-installation, choose to keep your ManiaPlanet data directory, then you will not lose those.

No, you don't have to de-install!

Only install StandAlone Version in own Folder.

I have the same problem but not only ManiaPlanet (standalone). My video driver also crashes when I save a map.

Sorry for my late reply!
This is the error I get when I open a map. Maybe it has something to do with my game crashing?

A later update fixed the issue for me. Not sure about OP
