I'd be happy to volunteer some of my time to help with that.

Re: The Situation in ShootMania
Most people in the community will wait a long time for updates and improvements
but the thing that has to be guaranteed is that there has to be a stable version we can play and have fun with.
As long as there's a stable version you can take your time to implement the things you want to.
It seemed for most players after 4.1 that it introduced many bugs, the same with mp4 while mp3 or mp2 were more stable
So I hope you will be able to fix the most urgent things
I support you and I believe in the Idea of the game it is a raw diamond

Re: The Situation in ShootMania
Also for Shootmania?

I'm sure you're already on the list, regarding Maniaplanet in general and Trackmania especially

Re: The Situation in ShootMania
And I can tell that the top management at Ubisoft think that Shootmania is a raw diamond as well.
It's a little too raw probably ^_^, but a diamond nonetheless.
Eyebo, if you accept the challenge to make a VIP bug list of the "in between" test phase, I can welcome that a lot. Have some people help you if you feel this to be better. I can tell that the engineers trust you a lot!
Someone, without the knowledge of the game and players, did tried once to make this. It was useless, like a vote count of what people are saying. I think it is really difficult to do. My recommendation would be to focus on the top 5 or top 10. Being part of the top 5 may require the bug reporter to have a good report. Quality of the report is most of it.
Alinoa is reporting me when there is really a trouble, but she also tried to not disturb the activity of the studio, since she knows when we have some big things on the agenda. The list would help her and me to find a better format of communication in between the private phase which are great.

Re: The Situation in ShootMania
Thanks! That's very nice to hear!

And I accept.

But what do you mean by "in between" test phase?
And yes, I'd definitely ask for help and not go at it alone.
I have also tried to compile some lists of bugs from people and prioritize them in the past by priority based on which ones make the biggest impact on the most people. But this is really hard to do and of course subject to some bias. With multiple people helping out, it might mitigate some of that bias.
I know you've talked about lists in the past as well, including your own wishlist of things you'd like to do in the game.
I believe a good report is so important. If the devs don't have clear steps on how to reproduce something, it just wastes a lot of time, or maybe even gets the report put on the back burner.
Making a list of the Top 10 sounds reasonable, with the best reports/highest priority at the top.

Re: The Situation in ShootMania
I think that when we do a version with private beta phase, like 4.1, we do not need this list as much, since a lot things changes and a lot of players are helping in a great way. In between these versions, it's harder to navigate and sort out the priorities, even more that we have other things to do, like three things at the same time. So having a feedback from the players during these phases is important, but even more difficult because of the public part.

Re: The Situation in ShootMania
Honestly, I think something that really needs to happen is a public bugtracker. Something that we (the players) can report bugs to, and something that certain people (moderators, eyebo already said he's willing to help, etc.) can moderate and mark issues as duplicate etc.
It would allow for a lot better organizational overview than just a bunch of forum threads that are not made for the purpose of bugreporting.
A bugreporter could categorize issues, assign a group of developers or an individual to the issue, have file attachments (screenshots), an issue severity level, etc.
