Yes, we will fix it. Sorry.

In addition, I asked to fix the cross hair stuff two weeks ago, and we had quite of an agenda. Maybe the bugs are linked to modification for this. I don't know much here, we will keep you updated.

hi all!

So I've published an update to fix the shootmania issue.
(it was a small change in the protocol that produced some random issues when connecting to game servers.)

the long lasting crosshair size issue, however, is not fixed yet. investigations are still ongoing.

Unfortunately the bug is still there. However less prominent. Reconnecting to a server once or twice solves the issue now, but it is still there ..

Another method is to change the screen resolution ingame. Save it and change it back to your normal resolution. This will help as well.
But yes, this bug really need to be fixed very fast, its very confusing (especially for new players).
No risk, no fun!

There's also a new bug that appeared with the January 29th update where players are seen to be gliding while running around. It happens whenever you join a server and are spectating. It goes away after map is changed.

You can see an example in this video (9.95 MBs).

It happens both from first person view and from top down view.

- You don't hear stepping sounds.
- Armor is always empty
- Crosshair is on empty
- Ammo only resets when the player shoots

When next map loads it's fine.

It'd be nice if both bugs were fixed. I know the first tried to be fixed with the January 31st update.
1. Player forced into spectate when joining map
2. Players glide instead of run when spectating first map

Players are not able to watch replays when the are downloaded outside of Maniaplanet, and then executed to start Maniaplanet.

When Maniaplanet starts, the map in the replay is shown in bird's view perspective, you can see the cars and players moving, but it is not showing the expected perspective, like as if the watcher was driving himself.

The workaround is to place the replay in the Maniaplanet documents folder Replays/downloaded and to use the Replay editor menu in the game to simply watch (it is working as expected there!) or edit it.

This is an unattended change in the behavior which was apparently also not communicated.

I tried it yesterday evening and had to update to the present version, where the issue still persits.

I just got a 2.9 MB update. Glide bug when spectating is still there (maybe you haven't tried to fix it). No one is running anymore, they're all on hoverskates.

There's also two other bugs (probably related to each other).
One where you're stuck at spawn when you join a server.
It looks like the mouse cursor has disengaged from the game.
Going windowed fixes it.

The other bug is when you join a server with people already on it.
You're stuck spectating them. Workaround is to go windowed.

Obstacle is a good place to test this since you don't have to wait for rounds to end.

Thanks for your work trying to fix the bugs.
I do like the name tags being removed above the player you're spectating in TM2.
