[BUG] Interface or Material mode gets bugged

I created new material and went to place it on item, but i couldnt do anything. Reopening MM fixed it.

if possible, next time you have this, please press ctrl+G and write here if you have anything written in yellow or red in the console (i suspect it's a script failure)
