Accelerating and braking at the same time

Post by tabug20 »

Hey all, I started playing TM2 again because I was hyped by the ZRT Cup. When I try to accelerate with my right trigger (Xbox 360 controller), my car brakes at the same time, making it impossible to drive. I used to play with the same controller before and it still works perfectly on other games, so that isn't the issue. Tried to remap my controls, redownloaded the game and booted up my pc a lot of times, still didn't change anything. Please help !

Try going into your controller settings in the game and resetting your controls to their defaults. (There should be an option for it)

Are you playing the game on Steam? You might have to disable Steam's controller emulation then.

Edit: I also moved this thread to the support forum.

Can you try to actively unset some bindings in the menu?

I know myself that it is a bit tricky to do :|

Just to be clear, you went into Big Picture mode, disabled the controller emulation there, and re-plugged your controller before starting the game?

I can, but I really wanna play with the triggers, not A to accelerate or X to brake.

Do you have any other controllers connected by any chance? I know that having multiple controllers connected can cause issues.
