After eyebo did some investigation on how the bug actually appears, we adapted all the blocks to avoid the issues. And it helped; we vanished like 99% of all bumping issues. More info on what we actually did and how it helped will be written in an upcoming blog post on unbitn.com

Ladies and gentlemen,
It’s finally time to release a new environment. It has been in development since June 2018 and during one year, a bunch of items became a whole collection of blocks and maps. Unbitn Studio is delighted to reveal its newest creation – TrackMania One – Alpine!

During the past 13 months we worked hard on our version of the the famous Snow environment from TrackMania.

Besides over 800 blocks, updated graphics and new menu features such as a global map ranking and improved user experience, the titlepack also contains a rich solo-campaign containing 50 race tracks in best quality.
As always, we've added our own blocks and variants for you to have a lot of fun in the editor! It's fully possible to re-build old maps from the previous TM games. The original Snow vehicle physics allow you to play Alpine the same way you could back in previous TM games!

If you want to find out more about Alpine and its new features, we recommend to read the full release post on our new website.
Check it out here: https://unbitn.com/trackmania-one-alpine-out-now/

However, enough time wasted. See it yourself ingame!

To play the titlepack, visit the pack page in the ManiaPlanet Store or visit our titlepack page.

Check out the launch trailer, created by eyebo!

If you want to get in touch with the developers and players, we recommend you to join our TMOne Discord server: http://discord.unbitn.com

Now we wish you a lot of fun and we hope you'll enjoy the titlepack. Tell more people about the project to help us grow!

Disclaimer: Activate the ingame music when you first open the pack and don't tab out of the game!

First of all, I want to congratulate everyone who worked on this project. I am amazed by the quality of this title pack. I played through most of the maps and I really enjoyed the variety and the challenge (these medals are HARD to get!) :1010

I have a couple of suggestions/improvements/feedback to share. These are minor, but I feel they would give this title pack an extra layer of polish

Most of these suggestions fall under this: I wish the UI was based on MP4 instead of older versions. The new UI look and feel much better IMO. However, looking at your website, it seems like you have put a lot of effort in the custom UI, so I don't expect you to change it all based on the request of one random internet dude!

Here is a semi-prioritized breakdown of why I feel the new UI is better, so maybe some bits could be integrated in the current pack.
(I don't know the technical details, so I assume everything is possible!)

1. Show rankings on the first page
When I select a gamemode, the first thing I expect to see is the global rankings of my region, with easy switch to Country and World.
Personally, this global ranking is my main motivation to keep hunting after I got most medals.
The fact that it is the first thing that everybody sees increases the "value" of the ranking.
Also, the ability to click on players to see their top 10 best scores is nice.

2. Milliseconds
It just feels weird to go back to 1/100 precision when official packs have 1/1000 precision

4. Change track category in 1 click
In official packs, and in TMUF, you don't have to go "back" to change track category (white, green, blue...). You can just change with one click, or one controller button (TM2).
I can't tell exactly why, but having a more "flat" access to all tracks feels more "friendly" and "unified".

5. Improved SkillPoint screen
Medals and SkillPoints are on the same page, spare one button press
On PB, show updated region/country/world ranking. This is satisfying and it ties in with point #1
Remove training vs official times now that all times are official.

6. Add group rank to tracks
In addition to World/Country/Region, add friend groups.

Finally, I think your pack deserves the "Environment" category in the ingame store. I'm sure Nadeo can make an exception for you.

The length of this post demonstrates that I am passionate about your pack. I can't wait for the next update/pack/new environment!

TL;DR, Alpine is awesome!, MP4 UI > Older UI

@trew:
Thanks for your detailed feedback and you enthusiasm! We appreciate your effort to write all of this.
Most of what you said is true and will be subject to changes in the future.
For the old UI you have in game, we already have a reworked version of it, with our own touch. We only need to fine tune it and include it in a future release.

Thank you once again :)

@djhubertus:
If you have nothing valuable left in TMSnow, like maps, you can delete it safely.

Good to hear! Keep up the good work!
Edit: I forgot one thing in my suggestions: It would be cool to see how many players completed each map

Thx for the explanation  It means it won't fix my troubles when using the snow car in plain canyon or valley.

Btw: i tried out the new titlepack and in my opinion its awesome!! I hope your issues with custom maps get fixed soon. Keep going  :pil

Thank you a lot for the great feedback. :thx:
The menu and user experience apart from the maps and blocks could have used a bit more time to be polished indeed, and some things were mainly done "last-minute". However, we've got a long list of reports and issues as well as new features to add, so you can stay tuned for many updates during the next days and weeks.

One of those updates is the vehicle skin selection, which lets you select one of 12 exclusive Snow car skins.

If you want to discuss with us or have a better communication with both devs and community, you're invited to join our Discord server if you want. :)
