[FIXED][Bug] Mesh Modeler: Selection tool stops working

Sometimes it isn't possible any more to use the selection tool. Here is a way to reproduce it:
1. Go into 'Advanced Tools'
2. Select 'Merge vertices/merge faces'
3. Go into 'Modelling Tools'
Now the selection tool isn't working any more until you go back into 'Advanced Tools' and select 'Selection'.
